Nashville Sustainability Conference: They Didn't Want to Leave

Nashville hosted more than 50 sustainability directors from cities across the Southeast U.S. for a 3-day conference in May. The Department of General Services kicked off the conference by showcasing the Center of Responsible Energy (CORE), our innovative nexus of energy management and planning.

The conference attendees representing cities from Florida to North Carolina to Mississippi explored common challenges, celebrated successes, and shared best practices. Together, this Southeast Sustainability Directors Network is connecting sustainability champions across the region to foster collaboration and innovation. Nashville was proud to host this gathering and display the sustainable strides our great city has made.
